Brief Bio

Sohail Aziz is a finance academic and researcher with teaching and professional experience in accounting, auditing, corporate finance, and financial management. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Finance from Bahauddin Zakariya University (B.Z.U.), Multan, with thesis submitted and viva pending.

His research interests mainly focus on corporate governance, debt financing, firm performance, financial decisions, operating cash flows, and efficiency analysis of non-financial firms listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. He has contributed research work related to corporate governance and capital structure in Pakistan’s corporate sector.

Along with academic research, he possesses professional experience in accounts and audit functions through work with Nestle Pakistan Ltd. and a chartered accountancy firm. He also has extensive university teaching experience in finance, accounting, and business-related subjects.
