Introduction
The University of Southern Punjab, Multan, through its Faculty of Pharmacy and dedicated Department of Pharmacy, has been established with a strong commitment to promoting excellence in Health Sciences education—particularly in the field of Pharmacy. With a vision to bridge the educational gap in Southern Punjab, where only a few institutions offer quality pharmacy education, the university strives to fulfill the growing demand for professionally trained pharmacists in the region. The Department of Pharmacy is equipped with experienced faculty, modern laboratories, and an outcome-based curriculum aligned with national and international standards.

Department Information
Department works with all eagerness, enthusiasm, and missionary zeal and zest under the Marjan educational Trust (Reg), Islamabad, purely to cater the needs of health sciences education, especially pharmacy education in the region of Southern Punjab. Marjan educational Trust (Reg), Islamabad, a chief supporter, financier, and sponsor of the project, whereas it would be the provider of innovation in technology and incumbent to revive and rejuvenate Muslim heritage to its rightful place in today’s Modern world under the auspices of the present Government. The trust provides good governance because of vast experience at its credit to run a number of top slot institutions from tertiary to University level very effectively & smoothly in the country. SPIHS is registered with the Directorate of Public Instructions (Colleges), Punjab, Lahore vide letter no. 83/MTN/22873-00 dated 04-0/8-2017, affiliated with Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, for 5 years Pharm-D program vide No. Aff/8409/Rs Dated: 05/08/2016 and accredited with Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP) vide No. 2-8/2016- PCP and notified in the official gazette of Pakistan, vide No: F. 1-10/2008-PCP, dated 26-08-2021. Department of Pharmacy, SPIHS, Multan is offering Pharm-D Program under the leadership of Prof. D.r Bashir Ahmad Ch with 22 regular faculty members including one professor, two associate professors, two associate professors, two assistant professors and 17 lecturers.
