Umbreen Kanwal is an experienced Art and Design Educator, Industrial Designer, and Researcher with over 16 years of progressive experience in academia and the apparel industry. She specializes in fashion and textile design, with a strong focus on sustainable design practices and fashion education.

Currently serving as Assistant Professor and Head of the Fashion Design Department at the University of Southern Punjab, Multan, she has extensive experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, and undergraduate thesis supervision. Her research explores the integration of sustainable approaches within fashion design processes, bridging the gap between industry practices and academic pedagogy.
