Introduction

Bachelor in Business Administration BBA (Hons) is a four-year degree program with minimum 133 credit hours. This program consists of a total of 8 semesters. Ordinarily, students will complete 15 credits every semester by taking five courses of 3 credits each. In this way, the students will have to take a total of 40 courses plus a research project of 6 credit hours in this program. Each course has 100 marks. The program has two parts: first is theoretical learning, and second is practical learning of business education. During the study, equal focus is given both on theory and practical aspects of the program so that dynamic business professionals can be produced. The curriculum of this program has been designed in accordance with the guideline of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Four specializations such as Marketing, Human Resources Management, Finance, and Management are offered to the students at the end of the fourth semester. In addition to course work, the students will have to undergo a 9-weeks internship in a leading organization/Department according to his/her specialization. Apart from this, every student will have to join different training and development programs during every semester. Bachelor in Business Administration is specially designed to produce business graduates to meet the growing demand of different sectors of the economy.

Career Prospects

  • The students, after obtaining Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA-Hons), can join a variety of professions. Some of them are as follows:
  • The student can start his/her own business as emerge as a successful entrepreneur.
  • The students having specialization in Finance and Banking can join any commercial bank, investment bank, and investment company.
  • The student having specialization in HRM can join the HR Department of any public or private organization because there is tremendous demand for competent HR executives.
  • The student having specialization in marketing can join manufacturing and distributing companies producing and distributing different products and services and need marketing executives to market their products and services.
  • The student having specialization in Management can join any industrial, banking, and trading company to manage physical and human resources and use them efficiently and effectively.
  • The student having Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA-Hons) degree can seek further education in higher studies in Pakistan and abroad because this degree is recognized all over the world.

Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility requirement for admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is a Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), A-levels, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the IBCC, involving 12 years of schooling with min 50% marks.

To develop an aptitude for research and continuous learning by developing new skills through critical thinking that will help them in solving contemporary challenges in business and managerial continuum.

To attain competencies of innovative thinking to pursue entrepreneurship.

To acquire team working skills as well as leadership qualities cognizant of a holistic business environment through active engagements with curricular and co-curricular activities.
