My research examines the aesthetic, structural, and symbolic qualities of early twentieth-century South Asian manuscripts, handwritten works of Syed Muhammed Ismail Dehlvi. It seeks to interpret how traditional practices such as Khat-i-Naskh Usmani calligraphy and Tazhib illumination can be meaningfully translated into contemporary Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI). By bridging historical manuscript traditions with evolving digital techniques, the study explores new visual languages that preserve cultural memory while engaging present-day modes of design and visual communication.
