Muhammad Hassan

Brief Bio

Muhammad Hassan is a Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Southern Punjab (USP), Multan, a position he has held since October 2016. He earned his M.Phil. in Mathematics from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, with a thesis titled A Parallel Discontinuous Galerkin Flow Solver for Navier-Stokes Equations under the supervision of Dr. Amjad Ali. His research interests include numerical analysis, iterative methods for nonlinear equations, ordinary and partial differential equations, fractional calculus, and machine learning. He has supervised eight M.Phil. students to completion, all focused on the development of higher-order iterative schemes for solving nonlinear equations. His recent publications have appeared in Pramana – Journal of Physics, Asian Research Journal of Mathematics, and the Southern Journal of Computer Science. In addition to his teaching and research, he actively participates in faculty development programs and international symposia on fixed point theory, optimization, and innovative pedagogy.
