Engr. Sohaib Ahmad

Brief Bio

I am a professional Electrical Engineer and Senior Lecturer at the University of Southern Punjab (USP), Multan, with over 12 years of combined experience in academia and the industrial sector. Since November 2014, I have played a key role in the Department of Electrical Engineering at USP, specializing in Electrical Power Systems, renewable energy integration, and the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) frameworks.

My research portfolio is focused on optimizing wind-hybrid power systems and characterizing photovoltaic harvesters. Drawing on a solid foundation in industrial field support and team leadership from my time at IBEXGlobal, I strive to bridge the gap between theoretical modeling and practical troubleshooting. I am an active participant in Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) seminars and remain dedicated to advancing engineering education and sustainable energy solutions in Pakistan.
