Department Introduction

The Department of Human Nutrition & Dietetics is dedicated to promoting health and preventing disease through diet, nutrition, and lifestyle management. The curriculum includes courses on clinical nutrition, community nutrition, food science, diet therapy, and nutritional assessment. Students engage in practical training at hospitals, public health organizations, and community-based projects, developing skills in diet planning, therapeutic nutrition, and nutritional counseling.

To become a leading hub for nutrition education and research, producing dietitians and nutritionists who improve community health and support evidence-based dietary practices.

Mission

Our mission is to prepare skilled professionals in human nutrition and dietetics who can address health challenges through preventive and therapeutic nutrition. We aim to create awareness about healthy eating, combat malnutrition, and contribute to public health initiatives in Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria

HSSC/A-levels/Equivalent (12 years of schooling) in Pre-Medical Group with minimum of 45% marks is the basic eligibility for program.
